- The Locanda del Barbaresco, just 4 km outside Alba, is a warm and homely bed and breakfast with wine bar.It’s an oasis of peaces and tranquillity, in the centre of a magnificent amphitheatre of noble Nebbiolo and Barbaresco vineyards. In the heart of the Langhe, the building is a renovated old school of the early ‘900. Each room has private bathroom and shower. There are three double bed rooms and two rooms with bunk beds, for a total of 12 beds. In winter, breakfast and dinner are served in a friendly, spacious lounge with small fireplace, and in summer in a relaxing spot on the law under shady trees.
