Description

The Bed and breakfast is a fifteenth-century house situated in the historical centre of Genoa,near to the medieval town walls.The B&B, which is close to the Old Harbour, the Congress Centre and the Aquarium (one of the most visited museums in Italy), is located in a strategic position as it is within walking distance from the most important museums and historical palaces of the town. Those of you who like to discover new things will want to climb up the silent narrow streets called "creuze", which go uphill from the sea disclosing charming and timeless places. The descent to the characteristic Genoese alleys called "carruggi" will make you discover small typical restaurants that offer the delicious Genoese cuisine. Let yourself be attracted by the sweet smell of spices, essences, coffee and cocoa, the products that used to arrive in Genoa from the sea and whose smell still comes out of the historical centre small shops. The museums, baroque churches, parks, the imposing Staglieno Cemetery, the restored fifteenth-century streets, the Rivieras and the luxuriant inland nearby are among the other surprises on offer. The affable owner of the house puts at her guests' disposal two comfortable double rooms (one of which may be changed into a twin-bedded room) overlooking a large terrace. Both rooms may be used as single.Each elegantly furnished room has its bathroom.Upon waking up, the guests will taste a typical fragrant breakfast, which will be served in the family kitchen or in the terrace according to the season.
